The new Cornerstone Program effective FY 06/07 recognizes alumnae, parents, and friends who make leadership gifts of $1,837 or more annually to the Mount Holyoke College Annual Fund (15th reunion or higher).  For younger alumnae, options begin at $100.

This represents an increase in the entry point for leadership giving, although it marks the first in the program’s 40-year history. Mount Holyoke counts on gifts to the annual fund to cover approximately 10 percent of its annual operating budget, a standard percentage among our peers.

If you are considering an increase in your gift or will be a Cornerstone donor for the first time, please know how important your support is to the College. Historically, leadership donors account for 15 percent of all donors, contributing 75 percent of Annual Fund total, overall. What does this mean to our students and faculty? Support for every corner of the campus: from student financial aid to faculty salaries to teaching and tech support to campus upkeep. Thank you for your consideration.
