Residence Halls

More than a place to eat, study, and sleep, your residence hall will connect you with a world of people and ideas you never knew existed. Students often say they form their strongest friendships in the residence halls.

We think our residence halls are quite spectacular. And, in fact, the Princeton Review rates Mount Holyoke’s dorms as being “like palaces.” Some are stately neo-Gothic and neo-Romanesque halls located at the center of campus; others are modern buildings with stunning views of Mount Holyoke’s two lakes.

Most residence halls house members of all four classes, with one-fourth of the rooms held for entering students. The result is a lively blend of first-years, sophomores, juniors, and seniors.
